Our family had an older second car, a '92' Honda Civic and decided that would be the vehicle we would use.

How does this work? The component parts of water are hydrogen and water, with hydrogen being very flammable containing a lot of energy. It works by adding this energy to the gasoline and actually increasing the combustion capacity without losing power. There isn't that much water used really in the system either, only about a quart every 2 weeks or so.

The water car conversion took us about a day to complete with the two of us working on it, my 15 year old son and I. We had located all of the parts we needed quite quickly, within about 3 days and went to work on the project on a Saturday in April.
Living in a rural area does have its benefits in that we didn't have the usual gawking crowd of onlookers wondering what we were doing that you might have in the city. Even still we did have to stop twice for visitors and they invariably wanted to know what we were doing.
They were both skeptical at first of the technology but within an hour of reading the preliminary plans to build water injection for my car they were both lending a hand and asking how they could do the same thing.
